Regional Sales Director

Windward is a maritime data analytics company shedding light on what’s really happening on the seas. It’s an exciting and tough journey, and we are looking for a Regional Sales Director for Government customers to join the Crew and be part of something big.

The Regional Sales Director is the owner of all government customers in his territory. He lives and breathes geopolitics, bridges between cultures, builds a strong network of partners, serves as the company ambassador and evangelist across multiple organizations and owns all phases of the Windward sales cycle.

You will also be required to be able to understand, verbalize and demonstrate Windward Intelligence System to potential customers and partners.

You will be measured on meeting new sales’ objectives, as well as achieving the company’s renewal and upsell targets in your designated territory.

In this position you will:

  • Own all phases of the Windward sales cycle, from territory mapping, lead generation and qualification, partner vetting/selection, sales development and contract award to post sale support and management in your designated territory ( EMEA)
  • Identify, qualify, contract and effectively manage a network of relevant sales partners – finders, agents, distributors and resellers.
  • Support the company in its ongoing journey to address complex and demanding end-user requirements and challenges –  business, geo-political and technical.
  • Be responsible for building and implementing the sales plan in the region.

Requirements:

Skills and Experience:

  • >5 years’ proven experience in selling – and completing sales – to government agencies in the territory (EMEA)
  • Existing, field-proven network of relevant sales channels in the designated territory – finders, agents, distributors and resellers
  • A demonstrable ability to superbly present complex technical and commercial subject matter to different levels of stakeholders, including product demonstrations
  • Strong matrix-management, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
  • Enthusiastic team player, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Independent, hands-on, and a VERY quick learner, who will thrive with minimal daily supervision
  • Very strong English, both verbal and written. Additional languages – an advantage.
  • Must be able to simultaneously manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with a start-up – an advantage
  • Dual citizenship – an advantage

Location:

  • Tel-Aviv offices, with frequent and long travel (>40% travel)
